Two Teens Charged As Adults In Deadly Greenbelt Shooting During Robbery, Police Say

Three suspects, including two juveniles charged as adults, are in custody after a fatal shooting during a robbery in Greenbelt claimed the life of a 23-year-old Bowie man, police said.

Prince George’s County police have arrested 22-year-old Samuel Nnam of Upper Marlboro and two 17-year-old boys in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred during a robbery in Greenbelt on July 29.

The victim, 23-year-old Jordan Swan of Bowie, was found with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of an apartment building in the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road at approximately 1:55 p.m., police said. 

He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

Investigators determined the suspects targeted Swan during a robbery, and Nnam was known to the victim.

Nnam and the two minors, one from Hyattsville and the other from Greenbelt, are all being charged with first- and second-degree murder, as well as other related offenses. 

They are being held without bond at the Department of Corrections.
